Where is 2000 Strong Adventure Camp?
Our camp is held at the YMCA Camp Grady Spruce 3000 Park Rd 36, Graford, TX 76449.
How much does the camp cost?
Youth Camp 295.00 per person.
Activities are part of the fee with the exception of horse back riding which is $20.00 and will be paid with registration fee.
Young Family Camp fee 245.00.00 per person. Children 0-4 years are free.
How do I register for the 2000 Strong Adventure Camp?
All registration forms may be completed online. Please select the Camp Forms navigation option at the top of this page.
What do I bring to camp?
Bring your scriptures, bedding and pillow for twin size bed, appropriate clothing, tennis shoes, socks, toiletries, swim suit, towel, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, bike with helmet, fishing pole No skateboards.
What about the staff?
All staff have been interviewed and trained in accordance with the State Law of Texas, and have passed a background check.
When and where is check in?
Check in begins at 4:00 pm on the first day of camp follow the sign once you enter Camp Grady Spruce.
When is check out? You may pick up your child at 12:00 pm on the last day of camp you must be on time for pick as other camp begins promptly and gates will be closed.
What is the policy on electronic devices?
Mobile phones and other electronic devices are allowed; however, they may not be used during class times, campfires or the Dedication Service. Campers and staff members are required to make responsible appropriate decisions about cell phone and camera use. Any inappropriate use of cellphones or cameras at camp will not be tolerated. Counselors and Staff will have discretion over the campers use of cell phones in cabins.
How are parents notified in case of an emergency?
Parents (or guardians) are notified immediately per the emergency contact information on the camper's registration form. It is vital that up-to-date telephone numbers are provided. How do I notify my child in case of an emergency at home? Most campers bring their own mobile phones.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Each cabin sleeps up to 8 campers and 2 or more counselors; the cabins are also storm shelters. Campers will be assigned to stay with their biological sex.
